Senior Resident Engineer - Infrastructure Project

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery (time, cost, quality) of assigned infrastructure package
• Supervise and manage contractors ensuring work meets specifications and milestones
• Manage and direct supervision team for daily inspections
• Maintain high safety standards across project sites
• Resolve site issues and present progress to client teams
• Negotiate changes to scope of work with clients and subcontractors
• Establish project plans including Health & Safety, Quality Control, and Project Execution
• Monitor performance of site staff and project progress
• Plan, supervise, and control all technical and administrative functions
• Assign responsibilities to key subordinates
• Provide input for performance reviews and development plans
• Conduct weekly internal meetings to review status and action items
• Represent AECOM at all client meetings
• Perform engineering and construction management on roads/building projects
• Review technical deliverables and construction program specifications/costs

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field
• Minimum 20 years post-graduate experience in design and site supervision of infrastructure/building projects
• UAE experience required, especially within Dubai
• Experience in building and underground car park projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering chartership is advantageous
• Understanding of Dubai Authorities procedures is preferred
