Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive infrastructure plans for urban development projects, including transportation networks, utilities, and public facilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and government officials
  • Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
  • Perform site assessments and analyze data to inform infrastructure planning decisions
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards
  • Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders
  • Implement sustainable and innovative solutions in infrastructure design and planning
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth of the engineering team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure planning and engineering
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)
  • Advanced skills in AutoCAD or similar CAD software and GIS applications
  • Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the UAE
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with urban development projects and infrastructure systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience working in the Middle East, especially UAE
  • Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and sustainable urban development practices
