Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Be familiar with project contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health & safety measures with any updates
  • Ensure contractor compliance with standards and specifications
  • Maintain contractor daily human and equipment resource records
  • Undertake site supervision and inspections as instructed
  • Liaise and follow up daily with the contractor to ensure proper site management
  • Prepare daily reports to Resident Engineer/Structural Engineer (RE/SE), including work orders, material delivery, and inspections program
  • Implement any site instructions from RE/SE
  • Apply and implement all quality controls and site quality procedures
  • Prepare site measurements and surveying checks for Bridge work and other associated structures
  • Coordinate with client project manager during site inspections
  • Monitor contractor QA/QC activities and maintain records
  • Assist SE/RE with correspondences as per contract and site requirements
  • Resolve site problems with RE/SE promptly
  • Monitor start-up, commissioning, and handover of site works including project milestone records
  • Maintain records of material tests and executed works
  • Audit inspections for conformity to contract and plans

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant project experience
  • Minimum 3 years UAE experience
  • Relevant experience in structural and roads projects
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering

  • RTA Approval
  • UAE experience preferred
