If you only read this box:
- You must be 18+, use your real information, and run your own job search; you're responsible for what happens under your account and tokens.
- Auto-apply acts as your agent: it submits real applications from your confirmed answers, and submissions can't be recalled once an employer has them.
- AI outputs are drafts you should review; you own your content and the documents we generate for you.
- Subscriptions renew until you cancel; features last through the paid period; purchased credits expire after 12 months; refunds are discretionary unless the law says otherwise.
- We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms, and you can delete your account (and your data) anytime.
Introduction
ScoutJobs is an AI-powered job search platform operated by Kasovy LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, United States. The service finds and curates job listings, helps you prepare resumes, cover letters, and interviews, and, when you enable it, applies to jobs on your behalf. These Terms of Service are the contract between you and Kasovy LLC for all of that: the website, the talent dashboard, our email products, and our API.
Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account or using ScoutJobs, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use ScoutJobs. You must provide accurate information, keep your account credentials secure, and use the service only for your own genuine job search. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, including actions taken by tools you connect through our API.
The service and job listings
Job listings on ScoutJobs are aggregated from employer career sites and applicant tracking systems, then structured and enriched by our AI pipeline. Listings belong to the employers who posted them. We work to keep listings fresh and accurate, but we do not control them: roles close, details change, and employers make the final call on every application.
ScoutJobs is a tool for your job search. We are not a recruiter, employment agency, or agent of any employer, and we do not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment.
Auto-apply: acting on your behalf
When you use auto-apply (including autopilot), you authorize ScoutJobs to act as your agent for the limited purpose of submitting job applications you have requested. Specifically, you authorize us to:
- Fill in and submit application forms on employer sites using your profile, resume, cover letters, and the answers you have confirmed.
- Create candidate accounts on applicant tracking systems where the application requires one, and complete their email verification steps.
- Use a managed relay email address for application traffic, forwarding employer replies to your real inbox.
- On the Max plan, have a vetted ScoutJobs specialist manually complete an application that automation cannot finish, using the same information. You receive proof of submission.
Our agent only submits answers grounded in information you provided and confirmed; it never invents facts about you. In return, you are responsible for the accuracy of that information.
Auto-apply consumes credits and is subject to daily and monthly limits shown in the product. Credits are refunded automatically when a run fails; they are not refunded for applications that were submitted successfully.
AI-generated content
Resumes, cover letters, interview prep, chat replies, and similar outputs are generated by AI and provided as drafts. Review them before you rely on them. We design the system not to fabricate facts about you, but AI output can still contain errors, and we do not warrant that any generated document is accurate, complete, or will produce any hiring outcome.
As between you and ScoutJobs, you own the content you upload and the documents the service generates for you. You grant us the license we need to store, process, and transmit that content to operate the service, including sending it to the AI providers and employers described in our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions, credits, and billing
ScoutJobs offers a free tier and paid plans, billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Current prices and plan features are on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in your settings; cancellation stops future renewals and your plan features remain active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Credits. Auto-apply credits refill monthly with your plan and can be topped up with one-time credit packs. Purchased credits expire 12 months after purchase. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable.
- Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; we may issue refunds at our discretion. Credits consumed by a failed auto-apply run are re-credited automatically.
- Price changes. We may change prices with notice; changes apply from your next billing period, and you can cancel before they take effect.
- Promotions. Discount and partner codes are single-use, non-transferable, and may expire or be withdrawn.
Usage limits and fair use
Free and paid tiers include usage limits (for example daily listing views, agent messages, applications, and API reads) shown in the product. Limits exist to keep the service fast and affordable for everyone; we may adjust them over time. Circumventing limits, automating access outside our published API, scraping the site, or reselling access is not permitted.
API and connected AI tools
ScoutJobs exposes an API and MCP server so you can use your account from AI assistants and other tools. Access tokens you create are yours to safeguard; anything done with your tokens counts as done by you.
Some API tools take real action, including submitting job applications. Connecting a tool and granting it write or apply scopes is your authorization for the actions it takes. API access is rate-limited and may be revoked for abuse.
Share links
Some documents the service generates for you (for example a cover letter or resume) can be published as a public share link. Anyone with the link can view the shared content, so share deliberately. A share link can be revoked at any time (email us and we will disable it), and deleting your account revokes all of your share links.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Provide false information in your profile or applications, or apply on behalf of someone else.
- Use the service for anything unlawful, or to spam or harass employers.
- Probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or access other users' data.
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute the site or its listing data, or resell access to the service.
Privacy
How we collect, use, and share your personal data, including what happens when we apply to jobs for you, is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
Intellectual property
The ScoutJobs software, design, brand, and content we author are owned by Kasovy LLC or its licensors. Job listings remain the property of the employers who posted them. Your content remains yours, as described in the AI-generated content section.
Termination
You can stop using ScoutJobs at any time and delete your account from Settings → Privacy, which permanently deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access, including deleting your account, if you materially breach these Terms, abuse the service, or create risk for us, employers, or other users. Where reasonable we will warn you first. If we terminate your paid account without cause, we will refund the unused portion of your subscription.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Without limiting that: we do not warrant that listings are accurate or open, that applications will be received or considered by employers, that AI output is error-free, or that the service will be uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kasovy LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, profits, or data, arising from your use of the service, including outcomes of job applications submitted on your behalf. Our total liability for all claims is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or USD 100 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, United States, and disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Wyoming, except where the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence give you additional protections or a different venue.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top; for material changes we will notify you by email or in the product before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new version.
