Engineer - Planning

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for small to medium-sized projects
• Analyze project financial data and identify potential impacts on project outcomes
• Assist in establishing project baseline data using drawings and specifications
• Conduct cost and schedule variance analyses to ensure project efficiency
• Collect and analyze progress data, reviewing performance trends to support decision-making
• Apply earned value, scope control, and change management methodologies
• Analyze manpower, labor hours, and labor costs against budget limitations
• Track purchase order and subcontract commitments and expenditures
• Support the project reporting process and participate in project cost review meetings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and timelines
• Assist in trend analysis and forecasting to optimize project performance
• Contribute to the development and improvement of planning processes and tools

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years’ experience in Planning / Project Controls
• Experience on major transport programs
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Advanced knowledge of ORACLE Primavera P6
• Ability to develop, monitor and control schedules
• Working knowledge of WBS coding structure, cost/schedule variance analysis
• Earned Value Management (EVMS), project trend, contract change and claims
• Working knowledge of Time Impact Analysis techniques
