QA/QC Engineer - Dubai, UAE (12 months, onsite, extendable)

Responsibilities

• Control and supervise all QA/QC activities on site
• Ensure on-site quality inspection and surveillance is completed as per requirements
• Timely follow-up of Inspection Test Requests (ITR) according to ITPs, liaising with QA/QC Engineer and Client Representatives
• Perform Material Receiving Inspection and maintain accurate records
• Manage non-conformities on site and lead follow-up for resolution
• Provide quality support during installation, testing, and commissioning
• Support coordination between Installation Team and Client Representative
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of quality activities to QA/QC Engineer
• Maintain Material Submittal, ITP, ITR, and MRIR Registers

Requirements

• Familiarity with MS Office applications
• Good communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Electrical/Electronics Technician qualification
• Flexible working hours (most work during night shifts)
• At least 3 years of on-site inspection experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with rail/transport infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of quality management systems in engineering projects
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
