Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver all aspects of cost management from project inception to completion.
  • Maintain high standards of professional competence in all client dealings.
  • Drive performance standards and technical excellence through effective communication and AECOM technical practice networks.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with clients, enhancing company profile as a provider of premium services to the construction industry.
  • Support and mentor junior staff on technically complex projects.
  • Identify and develop new marketing opportunities and potential leads for new business.

Requirements

  • Significant experience and strong track record in Cost Management/Quantity Surveying, ideally within the UAE.
  • Strong pre-contract cost management experience.
  • Experience in cost/commercial management within integrated, multi-organisation teams.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Good working knowledge of FIDIC contracts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years post-undergraduate experience.
  • Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying and/or Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • MRICS accreditation.
