Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Review Inspectors Daily Reports and oversee daily activities
  • Guide supervision and assignment of Contractor's operations
  • Review and approve Contractor’s Shop Drawings and technical submittals
  • Coordinate with Contractor’s staff on schedules, methods, and procedures
  • Oversee as-built drawings, laboratory test witnessing, and non-conformance reporting
  • Prepare punch lists and coordinate field inspections
  • Serve as an active member of project leadership, interfacing with the Client
  • Manage delivery of contract objectives: scope, quality, timeline, budget, stakeholder communication, and health/safety
  • Maintain reporting to Resident Engineer on developments affecting the project
  • Interpret survey and engineering submittals to resolve issues
  • Identify slippage and initiate recovery actions for the contractor
  • Ensure compliance to quality management systems and standards
  • Review designs for compliance with local/international standards and Employer/Authority requirements
  • Submit progress reports to Resident Engineer and report non-conformity
  • Evaluate Contractor's personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
  • Monitor project participant progress, conduct meetings, perform claims analysis
  • Assist in construction issue resolution and analyze value engineering proposals

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years Construction Supervision/Management (MEP/Dry Utilities)
  • 8 years infrastructure project experience
  • 3 years UAE experience
  • Senior Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer background
  • MEP Engineer with private developer/infrastructure projects
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Proficient in MEP systems supervision and installation: HVAC, LV/HV electrical, CCTV, telecommunications, fire protection
