Design Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the client’s design management representative throughout all project phases.
• Review and evaluate all design packages and technical documentation submitted by consultants (including Architectural, Interior Design, Landscape, Signage & Wayfinding, Lighting, etc.).
• Ensure design alignment with client’s brief, budget constraints, and quality standards to deliver cohesive outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with consultants' scope requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience with reputable consultants/developers.
• Minimum 5 years in a client-side or design management role.
• Strong QA/QC, analytical, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver.

Preferred Qualifications

• Portfolio of large-scale mixed-use and commercial development projects in the UAE.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary design teams and deliver coordinated design packages.
• Familiarity with UAE local authority codes and approval processes.
• Project execution and valid construction process understanding.
