Senior Resident Engineer - Infrastructure Project

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery (time, cost, quality) of assigned infrastructure package.
• Supervise and manage contractors to ensure works are built as per specification and milestones.
• Manage and direct the supervision team for day-to-day site inspections.
• Maintain high level of safety awareness and ensure contractor compliance.
• Resolve site issues and present progress updates to client teams.
• Negotiate scope changes with clients and key subcontractors.
• Follow up on project instructions and commitments.
• Establish and implement project execution, health & safety, and quality control plans.
• Set program requirements and monitor site staff performance.
• Plan, supervise, and control technical, fiscal, and administrative functions on-site.
• Assign responsibilities to subordinates and support their development.
• Conduct weekly meetings to review project status and action items.
• Represent company in client meetings and review technical deliverables.
• Review construction programmes, specifications, and cost estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or relevant Engineering field
• 20+ years’ post-graduate site supervision and design experience
• Private developer project experience
• Building experience
• Underground car park experience
• UAE experience (especially Dubai)

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered engineer status
• Understanding of Dubai Authorities
