Manager - Commercial Banking

Responsibilities

• Perform credit analysis, spread audited financials and prepare credit proposals for commercial lending.
• Support onboarding and ongoing monitoring of discretionary lending customers alongside Relationship Managers.
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness of financial analysis, credit submissions and documentation in line with bank policies.
• Follow up on origination and execution of customer transactions; ensure high data quality in bank systems.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities (Trade Finance, Cash Management, Treasury) and refer to specialists.
• Provide timely, professional client service and respond to client queries per service standards.
• Assist with preparation of reports, statements and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes.
• Work within the authorised decision framework and adhere to governance and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years experience
• Commercial banking
• Credit analysis
• Trade finance
• Financial modelling
• Relationship management
• MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in corporate, commercial or business banking support roles
• Proven ability to prepare detailed credit proposals and identify key risks and mitigants
• Strong client servicing skills and ability to identify cross-sell opportunities
• Familiarity with trade working capital and corporate banking products
