Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative and operational functions for daily project operations related to electromechanical activities.
  • Review Inspectors' Daily Reports and prepare Engineer’s Daily Diary.
  • Oversee Inspectors’ daily activities, work assignments, and provide guidance on supervision of Contractor’s operations.
  • Review Contractor’s inspection, surveying, and testing requests, including completed reports.
  • Review and approve Contractor’s shop drawings and proposed materials and methods, as delegated by the Resident Engineer.
  • Monitor the performance of survey parties and conformance with the Contractor’s schedule.
  • Prepare meeting minutes, written and oral reports to the Resident Engineer, and review as-built drawings in coordination with inspectors and surveyors.
  • Coordinate with Contractor’s supervisory personnel regarding schedule, sequence, and method of work.
  • Conduct continuous field inspections and consult with Resident Engineer’s and Contractor’s supervisory staff.

Requirements

  • Relevant Engineering Degree
  • 10+ years demonstrable experience supervising construction of roads and highways
  • Previous experience in Dubai

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous RTA (Roads & Transport Authority) approval
