Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage project and service revenue recognition in line with IFRS 15 and company policies
• Prepare and post journal entries for revenue, cost recognition, amortization, and provisions
• Close inventory modules monthly and ensure accurate costing and valuation of IT hardware and spare parts
• Collect, verify and record timesheets; post labor costs to ERP
• Reconcile project-related transactions, project clearing accounts, unbilled receivables and deferred/unearned revenue
• Calculate and process VAT and WHT; maintain tax documentation and support inquiries
• Calculate, accrue and process sales commissions; reconcile accruals to actuals
• Execute 3-way matching (PO, GRN, invoice) and manage vendor invoice processing and payments
• Prepare vendor reconciliations and review supplier aging reports
• Monitor slow-moving inventory, post amortization for spare parts and compute bad debt provisions
• Support month-end and year-end close, GL reconciliations and financial reporting

• 5-7 years

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) full or part-qualified
• Experience in IT system integration, IT services or project-based technology environments
• Hands-on experience with ERP project/service modules (e.g., Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Experience with AMC, maintenance contracts, time-and-materials and milestone billing
• Familiarity with vendor rebates, warranty claims, cross-border transactions and distributor relationships
