Teller Supervisor (Emiratised Role)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day teller area operations to ensure accurate, timely, and secure processing of all customer transactions.
• Supervise tellers to meet teller-related service KPIs (NPS, Right First Time, complaint resolution, service request turnaround, mystery shopping).
• Authorise and escalate teller transactions within delegated limits; maintain cash control and operational discipline.
• Oversee cash withdrawals, cheque deposits, funds transfers, demand drafts, and foreign exchange processing.
• Verify transaction source documentation and accuracy; ensure daily teller and vault balancing and reconciliation.
• Run Start-of-Day (SOD) and End-of-Day (EOD) procedures and investigate exceptions.
• Manage custody of undelivered/returned cards, cheque books, debit cards, and PINs.
• Monitor queues, reallocate staff to minimise wait times, and promote digital/self-service channels.
• Prepare and submit daily, monthly, and quarterly teller operation reports; maintain audit-ready records.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Emirati national (Emiratised role) preferred
• Experience with high-volume branch environments
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Familiarity with FAB policies and branch systems
• Bilingual: English and Arabic preferred
