Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead BIM Model and Drawing co-ordination within MEP and across disciplines
  • Identify incremental improvements to procedures or processes for efficiency and quality
  • Evaluate and implement advanced technologies/tools optimizing design workflows
  • Conduct clash detection and resolve issues between MEP systems and other disciplines (Navisworks, Revizto)
  • Perform self-checks and technical quality reviews of work products
  • Document project records in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Participate in client meetings, explaining and defending work
  • Create templates, high-level BIM families, shared parameters, scheduling, and BIM modelling
  • Coordinate model setup, drawing packages, model coordination, and other project requirements
  • Set up, maintain, support, and troubleshoot BIM projects
  • Manage junior staff, coordinating activities of a small team as needed
  • Maintain liaison with design groups
  • Undertake complex assignments under some supervision
  • Ensure familiarity with codes, permits, and related software applications

Requirements

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in building projects
