Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver all aspects of cost management from inception of a project through to completion.
  • Achieve the highest standards of professional competence, reinforcing the profile of the company with clients and professional contacts.
  • Drive performance standards and technical excellence through expert communication and effective use of performance management processes.
  • Maintain and develop strong client relationships, continuously upholding the firm's reputation for premium quality services.
  • Support and manage more junior staff on technically complex projects.
  • Identify and develop marketing opportunities, assisting business development efforts.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in Cost Management/Quantity Surveying field, ideally within the UAE.
  • Strong pre-contract cost management experience.
  • Experience in integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams for cost/commercial management.
  • Ability to engage and influence key client stakeholders.
  • Good working knowledge of FIDIC contracts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years post-undergraduate experience.
  • Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying and/or Engineering (or equivalent) from an internationally recognized institution.
  • MRICS accreditation.
