Project Manager, MEP

Responsibilities

• Lead project initiation, form project team, participate in kick-off and define execution and subcontracting strategy.
• Coordinate with client Project Manager and internal stakeholders; set up project information and communication systems.
• Develop schedules, budgets, staffing plans, vendor lists and progress milestones in collaboration with planning team.
• Manage technical issues, report project progress to senior management and client, and ensure scope, schedule and budget adherence.
• Produce project execution plan: scope, deliverables, master schedule, budget, org charts and risk register.
• Oversee information management systems and lead the information management team.
• Monitor costs, forecasts and financial status; P&L accountability including revenue delivery, margin, overhead, billing and cash collection.
• Manage change control, negotiate scope changes with client and ensure timely approvals.
• Drive HSSE leadership on projects; implement initiatives and audits and ensure quality management.
• Ensure team competence through coaching, mentoring and performance oversight.
• Lead client handover, close-out activities and maintain ongoing client relationships for business development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on medium to large scale EPC projects
• Minimum 3 years as Project Manager on similar projects
• Proven brownfield oil & gas experience, specifically switchgear replacements
• Strong commercial and forecasting skills
• Experience with client interfaces and subcontractor management
