About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage capital project execution from concept and engineering through procurement, construction, and final handover
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and design standards
- Develop and implement projects to improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of production units
- Drive process improvements and site operational efficiency initiatives
- Provide engineering support to production units within the Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Energy (O.N.E) Network
- Prepare scope of work documents, conduct cost estimations, and manage project schedules
- Facilitate design reviews and manage changes in project scope to minimize impact on deliverables
- Maintain a personal zero-accident safety record and participate in life-critical safety programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls)
- 2+ years of operational or engineering experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Willingness to travel for 1 to 15 days with little advance warning
Preferred Qualifications
- Solution-oriented with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform well under stress and time constraints
- Comfortable working in both corporate and field environments
- Familiarity with Google, MS Office, MS Project, Maximo, and Oracle
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively
