About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage capital project execution to ensure results meet original requirements, staying on time, within budget, and injury-free.
- Plan, develop, and deliver engineering projects to improve safety, operational efficiency, and reliability within the O.N.E. network.
- Partner with the Plant Projects Group and CI Group during the design and execution phases of large-scale capital projects.
- Provide engineering support to production units in the Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Energy (O.N.E.) network system.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including procurement, scope of work documentation, and technical assessments.
- Conduct project cost estimation, manage project schedules, and handle changes in project scope to minimize impact on deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality control requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts by identifying and sharing opportunities for process and system enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls).
- 2+ years of operational or engineering experience.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maintain a full range of motion.
- Ability to travel for extended periods (1 to 15 days) with little advance warning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Solution-oriented mindset with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform well under stress and tight time constraints.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, MS Office, MS Project, Maximo, and Oracle.
- Experience working in both corporate and field environments.
