Zone Manager, Cleaning Industry

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage, and coordinate client work scopes within a designated territory to ensure exceptional cleaning services.
• Drive revenue growth by identifying additional sales opportunities within existing client accounts.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with both clients and subcontractors.
• Oversee the training of subcontractors and employees on legal requirements (WHMIS, Health & Safety) and company-specific cleaning protocols.
• Analyze and control site budgets, monitor operational expenses, and implement cost-reduction strategies to increase profitability.
• Manage the implementation of new business transitions at client sites in accordance with established processes.
• Support the full lifecycle of the mobile workforce, including recruitment, training, performance management, and termination.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and collaborate with senior management to identify operational trends and gaps.

Requirements

• Proven experience in client account management and overseeing a mobile workforce.
• Strong ability to manage budgets and operational costs within a service environment.
• Ability to work flexible, rotating shifts, including evenings and nights.
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and solve problems efficiently.
• Strong business acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in technology and strong time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of floor maintenance and cleaning procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate a mobile team of subcontractors.
