Zone Installation Specialist, Medical Imaging

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality installation and technical service for medical imaging equipment across the South Zone.
• Establish rapport with customers and demonstrate urgency in identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Perform all administrative duties including service work orders, expense reports, and installation documentation within regulatory timeframes.
• Maintain technical expertise in at least one imaging modality and stay updated on industry trends.
• Schedule own activities and adopt best practices to ensure equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment (field or hospital-based) OR 3+ years of experience in related electromechanical industries.
• Associate degree in electronics, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and networking theory.
• Ability to travel up to 100% via car, air, or other transit, including potential overnight stays.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.
• Ability to safely work with radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or training with Magnetic Resonance (MR) or Cath lab/cardiovascular/image-guided therapy equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Electronic Engineering Technology (BSEET), Mechanical Engineering (BSME), or Mechanical Engineering Technology (BSMET).
