Zinc and Painting Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform zinc coating operations with precision, adhering to safety and quality guidelines
• Operate the Roto Blast machine for surface preparation tasks
• Conduct painting of taper bits, ensuring uniform application and high finish quality
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of paint and zinc coating booths and equipment
• Assist in the assembly of bits and other related production tasks as required
• Support additional duties within the production environment to ensure department efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum educational attainment of Grade 12 / Standard 10
• Solid understanding of industrial safety standards relevant to painting and coating
• Knowledge and practical use of the 5S methodology (TRACC)
• Medically fit to perform work in environments with dust and paint exposure
• Willingness and availability to work prescribed shifts and overtime
