YouTube Manager

Responsibilities

• Define channel strategy and formats for Owner and Adam Guild’s startup brand channels
• Manage editors, thumbnail designers, videographers, and pre-production workflows
• Lead A/B testing for packaging across the back catalogue
• Maintain and present YouTube scorecard metrics including retention, view velocity, and subscriber growth
• Research and test new YouTube features, algorithm shifts, and competitive strategies
• Draft run-of-show documents and capture live notes for editors
• Conduct regular retention reviews to improve audience engagement
• Manage post-production, frame reviews, and approve final uploads
• Manage the YouTube upload calendar and coordinate with marketing and shorts teams

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in YouTube channel management or development
• Deep understanding of the YouTube landscape including ideation, formats, thumbnails, and retention editing
• Strong analytical instincts and ability to work with data to drive content decisions
• Experience managing creative teams and production workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of editing software and Photoshop
• Enthusiasm for building AI-driven tools, automation, and new media workflows
