YouTube Content Strategist

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a long-term YouTube content strategy aligned with audience growth and business objectives
• Generate original video concepts with strong viral and evergreen potential
• Write and refine compelling video scripts, outlines, and story structures
• Analyze channel performance, audience behavior, and video-level analytics to identify growth opportunities
• Act as a strategic advisor on all YouTube content decisions and collaborate with the content team

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing, producing, or managing YouTube content with demonstrated results
• Strong understanding of YouTube analytics, audience retention, and click-through optimization
• Proven experience writing scripts and developing high-performing video concepts
• Exceptional storytelling instincts and understanding of audience psychology
• Strong analytical skills to turn data into strategic recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with creator brands, personal brands, or media companies
• Background in film production, directing, screenwriting, or documentary production
• Experience growing a YouTube channel from early-stage to significant scale
• Familiarity with production workflows, filming, and creative direction
