YouTube Channel Strategy Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for artists, labels, and Relationship Managers across an assigned roster of priority YouTube channels.
• Execute strategic post-launch initiatives across marketing, optimization, and growth activities to maximize reach, retention, and revenue.
• Provide hands-on support including programming, optimization, analysis, reporting, and content strategy.
• Conduct detailed channel and video audits with actionable recommendations and implementation plans.
• Track, analyze, and report on channel performance using metrics such as CPM, viewership trends, and audience demographics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to leverage YouTube for key campaigns and platform-specific initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records across internal systems and YouTube CMS.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of digital video experience.
• At least 2 years of experience managing, programming, and optimizing YouTube channels.
• Proficiency in YouTube CMS and Microsoft/Google Workspace applications.
• Familiarity with creative tools including Canva, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data to drive strategy.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A strong passion for and knowledge of music.
