Youth Work Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate rosters for Youth Workers across Family Based Care, Residential Care, and Supported Independent Living (SILS) services
• Manage timesheets and provide administrative operational support
• Provide supervision to the youth work team in line with organisational requirements
• Prepare rosters to manage risks and ensure staff levels meet client needs
• Monitor and support the onboarding, induction, and coordination of new Youth Workers
• Support the team in undertaking mandatory training and following practice frameworks
• Monitor the timely completion of high-quality client records and shift reports

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Child Welfare or health-related fields
• Significant experience in a coordination or administrative capacity
• Knowledge of child protection legislation and contemporary practices in out-of-home care
• Ability to work with individuals and families from a strength-based, culturally appropriate perspective
• Current Driver Licence
• Ability to clear probity checks, including National Criminal History and Working with Children Checks
