Youth Sports Coach

Responsibilities

• Teach the fundamentals of 10 different sports, including soccer, hockey, volleyball, basketball, tennis, lacrosse, football, track and field, baseball, and golf
• Lead classes for Amazing Tots (18 months to 2.5 years) and the classic Amazing Athletes curriculum (2.5 to 6 years)
• Incorporate lessons about nutrition and muscle groups to enhance motor skills and physical literacy
• Provide a fun and engaging learning environment for children to learn and grow
• Plan and execute age-appropriate activities and obstacle courses
• Actively engage with parents and caregivers to ensure a positive experience for all children and families
• Ensure that class materials and equipment are properly maintained and organized

Requirements

• Experience working with preschool-aged children
• Knowledge of a variety of sports and their fundamentals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide a high-energy and engaging learning environment
• Passion for working with children and helping them develop physical literacy skills
• Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed
• Must pass a background check and obtain CPR/First Aid certification
