Youth Program Coach

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead recess games and activities for elementary school students
• Teach class game times promoting physical activity, cooperation, and fair play
• Lead the Junior Coach Leadership Program for 4th- and 5th-graders
• Coach non-competitive sports clubs focused on inclusion and teamwork
• Communicate with Playworks staff, school staff, teachers, and families
• Manage paperwork and attend regular training sessions

Requirements

• Experience working with youth preferred
• Pass National Sex Offender, State criminal, and FBI background checks
• Complete TB test and CPR/First Aid certification upon hire (offered by Playworks)
• Reliable transportation to assigned school(s)
• Ability to work outdoors and remain physically active throughout the day
