About the role

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage partnerships with workforce development programs, community organizations, and city agencies
  • Provide technical assistance and contract management support for workforce programming
  • Support youth enrollment in the DYCD Summer Youth Employment Program
  • Organize workshops for youth and professional development trainings for staff
  • Travel to various sites across NYC to support workforce development implementation
  • Assess internal and external programs through observation and surveys
  • Prepare and maintain reports using case files, site visits, and databases
  • Participate in regular meetings with DYFJ and provider agencies

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree and two years of experience in community work
  • OR High school graduation and six years of experience in community work
  • Must have at least one year of relevant experience
  • Willingness to travel to detention facilities, provider agencies, and schools within the five boroughs
