About the role
Responsibilities
- Meet one-on-one or in small groups with students for pastoral care
- Mentor and develop the volunteer team
- Lead small group discussions and teach 2-3 times per semester
- Coordinate logistics for large youth events, retreats, and summer activities
- Manage communications including weekly emails and Instagram
- Oversee data and systems management using Planning Center
- Track expenses and manage the youth ministry calendar
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in ministry, youth work, or a related field
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Readiness for public teaching or facilitation
- Strong interpersonal and volunteer development skills
- Active attendance at Redeemer East Side church services
