Youth Care Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight supervision and direct care to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of children residing at Boys Ranch
• Maintain a secure and nurturing environment for residents during night shifts
• Work collaboratively with a team to provide daily care and address any emergencies
• Manage time effectively to ensure all resident needs are met during scheduled shifts

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalency
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Texas driver’s license
• Proficiency in operating general office equipment
• Physical ability to bend, lift, grasp, push, pull, and stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare
• Basic computer knowledge
