Youth and Family Ministry Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead youth discipleship (6th–12th grade) including weekly gatherings, small groups, and one-on-one mentoring
• Develop and deliver gospel-centered, age-appropriate teaching
• Recruit, train, and shepherd volunteer youth leaders
• Coordinate student participation in retreats, mission trips, and service projects
• Support children’s ministry (Infant–5th grade) through Sunday coordination and logistics
• Build trust-based relationships with parents and facilitate family engagement
• Integrate families into the broader life of the congregation
• Manage administrative tasks including database management via Planning Center

Requirements

• Alignment with the theological principles of the Presbyterian Church of America
• Deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Four-year undergraduate degree in theology, youth ministry, education, psychology, or related field
• 3–5 years of ministry experience with demonstrated leadership in youth ministry
• Proven ability to teach the Bible and Christian discipleship
• Experience recruiting and managing volunteers
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Planning Center

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate work in theology or counseling
• Experience in urban or multicultural ministry contexts
• Curriculum development experience
• Public speaking and teaching experience
