Young Category Assistant Internship

Responsibilities

• Assist Category Managers with daily operational tasks, including data entry, report generation, and market research
• Support the development and execution of category strategies, promotions, and marketing campaigns
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify potential opportunities or threats
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure product availability, accurate information, and timely delivery
• Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and customer feedback to recommend improvements
• Prepare presentations and summaries for internal stakeholders regarding category performance
• Maintain accurate product listings and pricing information on the JD.com platform
• Assist in resolving vendor and customer issues related to specific product categories

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, E-commerce, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (specifically pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Students in their final semester, graduating in 2026 or 2027
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online retail dynamics
