Yoga Instructor

Responsibilities

• Lead group exercise classes in the practice of Yoga
• Provide a safe environment while welcoming and supporting members
• Maintain current certification through a national certifying association
• Ensure classes start and end on time and equipment is stored appropriately
• Teach classes as formatted by the Health and Fitness Director
• Communicate with members to build relationships and support individual needs
• Attend all scheduled staff meetings and trainings

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Current Yoga certification
• Up-to-date group certification
• Morning availability
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (required within 30 days of hire)
• Ability to pass reference check, drug screen, background check, and sex offender check
