About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage shift team failure analysis to meet production, process, and quality requirements
- Work with 1st shift and shift engineers to identify and deploy Best Known Methods (BKMs)
- Maintain an effective training program and provide active leadership to drive group proficiency
- Mentor and develop engineers and technicians to improve shift team failure analysis (FA) capability
- Manage shift team output using KPIs and established best practices to serve internal customers
- Plan and direct implementation of equipment, process, or product modifications to improve yields and efficiencies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar experience
- 1-3 years of direct semiconductor leadership experience, specifically in failure analysis and root cause delivery
- Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, including night shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical leadership role
- Proven experience building and developing new failure analysis teams
