Yard Technician

Responsibilities

• Work alongside equipment operators to safely load and unload OCTG tubular products and accessories
• Build pipe blocking wedges using power and hand tools for secure transport and storage
• Use handheld devices and tablets to scan and track inventory with high accuracy
• Act as a spotter for equipment operators and assist with traffic control
• Maintain yard and warehouse housekeeping, maintenance, and administrative tasks
• Inspect and report any issues or malfunctions with company equipment
• Operate company vehicles as required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of manual labour experience
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication skills and a strong work ethic
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and fit test

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating light industrial equipment such as a skid steer, forklift, or shunt truck
• Previous experience handling tubular products
