Yard Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers in the yard
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the yard
• Assist Rental, Parts, and Service Departments as instructed
• Assist delivery drivers in loading and unloading products
• Wash and perform light maintenance on equipment
• Perform final inspections of equipment to verify inventory number, fuel level, and "rent ready" condition
• Inspect equipment condition and fuel consumption upon return
• Install service tags on returned equipment
• Move rental-ready equipment to proper storage areas
• Provide customers with start/stop and general operating instructions

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or 1-3 months of related experience/training
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Detail-oriented and well-organized
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or evenings as required
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
