Responsibilities

• Place trailers to required areas as per instructions
• Use two-way radios to maintain communication with operations
• Carry out all designated safety checks
• Report defects, accident damage, and incidents immediately
• Ensure fridges are set at correct temperatures for loaded products
• Monitor fridge diesel fuel levels
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with colleagues
• Report speed limit breaches by drivers and subcontractors
• Maintain vehicle parking area layouts and report debris
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards in work areas
• Work in compliance with Health & Safety legislation

Requirements

• Full C+E entitlement
• Tacho Card
• CPC card
• Previous Class 1 experience
• Previous shunting experience
• Experience in fast-paced environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work to challenging deadlines under pressure
• Self-disciplined and motivated
