Yard Foreman

Responsibilities

• Supervise yard personnel, determine work priorities, and schedule assignments
• Interview, orient, counsel, and train subordinate personnel
• Direct and assist crews to maintain the overall upkeep and condition of the yard
• Organize and maintain the drilling yard layout and operations
• Receive, track, and issue parts from yard inventory using RAMS
• Complete electronic field transfers and manage drill pipe inventory
• Manage logistics and delivery of parts and supplies to remote rig locations
• Arrange third-party hotshot transportation as needed

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of drilling rig equipment and maintenance practices
• Experience with Rig Asset Management System (RAMS)
• Strong understanding of inventory and fixed asset management concepts
• Proficiency in PC-based software, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
