Yard Driver NON DOT

Responsibilities

• Transport and switch trailers to and from assigned areas to maintain efficient dock operations
• Refuel and maintain yard switch equipment to ensure proper working order
• Load and unload trucks while verifying product count and condition
• Perform daily yard checks and properly secure all loads
• Inspect truck equipment daily, including tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water
• Maintain accurate records and logs as required by company policies
• Report any maintenance, safety issues, or product damages to supervision

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year verifiable experience driving, switching, or operating a commercial tractor
• Experience operating lift equipment to assist with loading and unloading trucks

Preferred Qualifications

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Experience in a fast-paced logistics or supply chain environment
