About the role
Responsibilities
- Reposition company commercial tractors and trailers within the yard, including backing trailers to dock doors
- Shuttle tractor/trailers to and from logistics or lease companies
- Perform yard inspections to identify and document vehicle defects
- Monitor trailer temperatures for refrigerated products to ensure food safety
- Maintain accurate paperwork, including DVIR booklets and DOT log regulations
- Assist the warehouse team with loading and unloading trailers when necessary
- Comply with all safety policies, including chock, safety cone, and dock signal light protocols
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A CDL with Air Brakes
- Current DOT Medical Certification
- At least six months of verifiable CMV driving experience
- Ability to work a night shift (12:00 AM - 8:30 AM) and a Sunday - Thursday schedule
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently (up to 100 lbs occasionally)
- Ability to work in refrigerated and outdoor weather conditions

- One year of verifiable CMV driving experience
