Yard Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage yard inventory control including staging, loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free, and organized yard environment
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, repairs, and equipment cleaning
• Ensure all safety requirements and training are completed
• Deliver a high standard of customer experience
• Communicate business-impacting issues to the Store Manager

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to operate and maintain yard equipment and vehicles
• Experience providing excellent customer service
• Basic math proficiency for inventory counts
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme and varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced construction or rental environment
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes
