About the role
Responsibilities
- Explain procedures clearly and ensure patients are positioned correctly for musculoskeletal imaging
- Operate X-ray equipment safely to produce diagnostic digital images of bones, joints, and soft tissues
- Apply proper immobilization techniques and follow safety protocols
- Perform routine checks on X-ray equipment and adhere to quality control standards
- Monitor and restock X-ray supplies
- Record procedures and imaging results accurately within the electronic medical record system
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- SCRQSA state certification
- 1+ year of experience as an X-Ray Technician preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
