WPF Modernisation Architect

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and hands-on development of the WPF toolkit, including controls, styles, templates, and documentation.
• Drive AI-assisted development and migration strategies using agentic workflows and code generation tools to accelerate design system adoption.
• Act as the backlog owner by gathering requirements, defining epics/stories, estimating, and prioritizing releases.
• Define the toolkit roadmap, versioning strategies, and deprecation guidance.
• Establish engineering standards through code reviews, static/dynamic analysis, and automated testing within a QMS environment.
• Lead customer-facing enablement through onboarding sessions, office hours, and training.
• Partner with designers to ensure high design-to-code fidelity and cross-platform consistency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent field.
• 12+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Deep expertise in .NET, WPF, and UI architecture.
• Proven experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code) or building agentic workflows.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to align priorities across multiple business units.
• Proficiency with static and dynamic code analysis tools and high engineering-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience scaling design systems, including documentation, governance, and adoption.
• Familiarity with Figma-based workflows.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry standards such as FHIR, DICOM, or HL7.
• Broader experience with web or mobile development to support cross-platform alignment.
