About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities throughout Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs
- Perform surgical debridement and other bedside procedures
- Apply advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
- Collaborate within the post-acute setting and manage patient outcomes based on clinical judgment
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Clear/unrestricted New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- DEA license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Successfully completed an accredited residency program
- Surgeons, family medicine, and internal medicine physicians welcomed; no previous wound care experience required
