Wound Care Physician

Responsibilities

• Lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities throughout Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs
• Perform surgical debridement and other bedside procedures
• Apply advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborate within the post-acute setting and manage patient outcomes based on clinical judgment

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Clear/unrestricted New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• DEA license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Successfully completed an accredited residency program
• Surgeons, family medicine, and internal medicine physicians welcomed; no previous wound care experience required
