About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze, benchmark, and assess CPU, GPU, and NPU silicon technologies and vendor roadmaps to identify competitive advantages.
- Contribute AI silicon platform concepts, performance models, and architectural recommendations in partnership with portfolio architects.
- Deeply understand customer AI workflows, including training, inference, RAG, and agentic pipelines, to propose advantaged platform solutions.
- Create technology planning roadmaps and detailed silicon performance projections to optimize the portfolio across the AI compute market.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to interpret customer AI workload insights and champion solution objectives throughout product development cycles.
- Drive module-level strategies to enable AI performance differentiation while optimizing for cost, complexity, and investment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of total engineering experience with an understanding of silicon architecture, AI/ML systems, or compute platform analysis.
- Experience in AI/ML systems and silicon performance analysis.
- Knowledge of CPU, GPU, and NPU silicon technologies and vendor ecosystems.
- Understanding of AI workloads such as training, inference, and RAG.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for negotiation and stakeholder influence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with silicon vendor ecosystems and AI workload benchmarking.
- Familiarity with emerging AI silicon technologies, including accelerator architectures and heterogeneous compute.
- Advanced project management skills, including schedule and risk management.
