Workshop Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a maintenance crew of 10-15 members at Thunderbox and Bronzewing mine sites
• Oversee repairs and maintenance for prime mover fleets, earth moving equipment, and trailers
• Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with operational requirements and safety standards
• Maintain accurate fleet documentation regarding servicing, repairs, and maintenance schedules
• Manage parts ordering through designated suppliers and order numbers
• Communicate effectively with drivers, plant operators, and other site personnel
• Identify and record deficiencies in products and services to maintain high operational standards

Requirements

• Mechanical Trade Certification
• Current WA Statutory Supervisor (S26) Certification
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a qualified Mechanical Fitter
• At least 12 months of experience in a Supervisor or Leading Hand role within mining, heavy diesel, or transport
• Current High-Risk Forklift Ticket (or ability to obtain one)
• National Police Clearance dated within the last 12 months
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
• Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and chain of responsibility regulations
