Workshop Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of 10-15 members at Thunderbox and Bronzewing mine sites
• Oversee maintenance and repairs for prime mover fleets, earth moving equipment, and trailers
• Ensure all staff possess the necessary skills to perform designated tasks
• Maintain accurate fleet documentation regarding servicing, maintenance, and repairs
• Manage parts ordering through approved suppliers and order numbers
• Maintain maintenance schedules, operating manuals, and company vehicle procedures
• Communicate effectively with drivers, plant operators, and site personnel
• Identify and record deficiencies relating to products and services

Requirements

• Mechanical Trade Certification
• Current WA Statutory Supervisor (S26) Certification
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a qualified Mechanical Fitter
• At least 12 months of experience in a Supervisor or Leading Hand role
• Current High-Risk Forklift Ticket (or ability to obtain one)
• National Police Clearance dated within the last 12 months
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
• Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and chain of responsibility regulations
