Workshop Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise an intimate team and daily workshop maintenance activities and allocate tasks
• Ensure high standards of safety and maintenance compliance
• Coordinate scheduling and prioritisation of repairs and breakdowns to maximise fleet availability
• Manage workshop inventory, parts ordering and equipment requirements
• Provide hands-on support, mentoring and technical guidance to team members
• Drive workshop efficiency and reliability outcomes

Requirements

• Trade qualification as Heavy Diesel Mechanic
• Extensive experience maintaining heavy vehicles and mobile equipment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
• HR Driver’s Licence minimum (MC Licence highly regarded)
• Experience with Volvo and/or Mack trucks

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous workshop or maintenance leadership experience
• Experience with pressure tanker trailers and ISO equipment
