Workshop Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage workshop staff across all site crews
• Work closely with leading hands and maintenance planners to schedule preventative maintenance tasks
• Maintain fleet paper trails regarding servicing, maintenance, and repairs
• Act as the primary interface between the workshop, maintenance team, fleet controllers, and transport operators
• Communicate effectively with drivers and plant operators
• Oversee maintenance schedules, operating manuals, and procedures
• Identify and record deficiencies relating to products and services

Requirements

• Mechanical Trade Certification (Light Vehicle Certificate minimum)
• Proven experience in supervisor or management roles
• Experience working with heavy-duty equipment
• Experience in a heavy industry transport or mining environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Proven experience repairing and maintaining light vehicle fleets onsite
• Ability to work safely in a regulated environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Mainpac and Sisense
